Connect students with Queensland Museum industry professionals at Museum Meet Up, a dynamic event series exploring real-world science, culture and history through museum collections and exhibitions.
Each Museum Meet Up includes a full-day itinerary of activities hosted at Queensland Museum Kurilpa. Students take part in an interactive presentation and Q&A, practical activity and exhibition visit.
Themed programs are offered on select dates in Terms 2–4, with a rotating schedule of experiences, led by Queensland Museum scientists, curators and researchers. These sessions align to curriculum content, bringing Science as a Human Endeavour to life, with authentic examples of research processes, collaborations, technologies, challenges, achievements and lifelong passion.
