Build Your Own VR Headset

Build and personalise your own VR (Virtual Reality) headset in this dynamic workshop, where innovation meets creativity. Using a specially designed kit, you'll craft a cardboard VR headset and unlock its full potential with your smartphone. Then, embark on an interactive museum trail to collect materials and customise your headset for a one-of-a-kind experience.

This workshop is designed for ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome. For older children and adults (12+), book our special session on 9 April at 3pm for more in-depth workshop, select this date when booking. This session is great opportunity for parents, guardians and older siblings to join and in and create together.

• Participants are encouraged to bring their own smartphone or use a parent/guardian’s phone for the session.
• Museum admission costs apply to accompanying adults from outside of the Toowoomba Region.
• The fun continues at home—keep using your headset with your smartphone!
