World Science Festival Queensland is returning to Ipswich this August. Come join the celebration as The Workshops Rail Museum once again becomes a STEM playground. Students can enjoy stimulating and inspiring experiences that showcase careers in STEM, including discussions with scientists, hands-on activities and exciting science shows.
Explore a transport wonderland for hands-on science fun – launch a rocket, step into a new world with Professor Tech's virtual reality station, and marvel at super silly science shows that go off with a BANG!
Experience furry, slimy and eight-legged creatures live and groove to the beats of our science band, Red Rocket 3!

Session 1 Primary School
Superfun Science Show: 9.30am-10.15am
Museum-wide Science Activities: 10.15am-11.15am
Session 2 Primary School
Superfun Science Show: 11am-11.45am
Museum-wide Science Activities: 11.45am-12.45pm
Session 3 Mixed Grades with High School focus
Superfun Science Show: 12.30pm-1.15pm
Museum-wide Science Activities: 1.15pm-2.15pm
