In January 2025, BirdLife Australia launched the Lockyer–Toowoomba Birds on Farms Project, the first of its kind in Queensland. The project brings together farmers, landholders and bird experts to better understand local birdlife and improve habitat across the region. It has quickly become the fastest-growing Birds on Farms project in Australia.

Join Project Coordinator Scot McPhie for a one-hour talk introducing the project, followed by short videos showing how birds use different habitats across the Toowoomba Regional Council area. Suitable for seasoned birders and curious beginners alike.

Children must be accompanied by and adult.
