Join seasoned artisan Kerry Salomon for this two-day bridle making workshop, where you’ll learn the traditional techniques of leathercraft.
By the end of the weekend, you’ll have created your own custom leather bridle to take home.
Kerry Salomon is a Master Saddler and Harness Maker accredited by the Society of Master Saddlers (UK). She completed Levels 2 and 3 of the City & Guilds Skills Assessment under Mark Romain at the Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury, England, crafting a range of bridles, martingales, girths, saddles, and a full set of Private Driving Harness. Upon returning to Australia, Kerry trained with John McDonald to create a traditional straw-filled neck collar and bespoke harness. Her craftsmanship has been recognised with awards at both the Ekka and the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
