Join Mark Edwards OAM as he delves into the untold story of Australian chaplains on the frontlines at Gallipoli and the Western Front. While soldiers faced unimaginable horrors, these unsung heroes provided comfort and courage under fire. Discover the extraordinary bravery, the honours awarded, and the ultimate sacrifices made by chaplains during the First World War.

About the presenter

Mark Llewellyn Edwards OAM is a former solicitor and Senior Minister at Cityhope Church, Ipswich, serving 33 years. He has held numerous leadership roles in community, education, and religious organisations, and has been recognised with the Medal of the Order of Australia and several military chaplaincy awards. Mark has produced Anzac documentaries, including Fallen (SBS 2023/24), and is currently completing a PhD on the experiences of frontline AIF chaplains in WWI.
