Hear from Mithaka Curator Tracey Hough and UQ Anthropology Museum Curator Mandana Mapar as they share the story behind Kirrenderri – Heart of the Channel Country, co-curated by Mithaka Traditional Owners and the University of Queensland.

This groundbreaking exhibition celebrates the land, culture, and history of the Mithaka People while showcasing how research and Traditional Knowledge can walk together. Tracey will discuss the Mithaka Research Framework, which places cultural protocols, ethical practice, and cross-cultural collaboration at the heart of research and exhibition-making.

Join the conversation, followed by a Yarning Circle and afternoon tea at 3pm, creating space for dialogue and reflection.
