Hear from Mithaka Curators Tracey Hough and Shawnee Gorringe as they share insights into Mithaka Country, its People, and the collaborative work of the Mithaka Aboriginal Corporation. Together, they bring deep cultural knowledge, research experience, and lived connection to place.

Explore how co-designed research frameworks have opened new opportunities — from on-Country research to international exchange and ongoing collaboration with the University of Queensland. You’ll also learn how this shared methodology informed the creation of Kirrenderri: Heart of the Channel Country, a touring exhibition now on display at Redcliffe Museum.

Stay for a Yarning Circle and afternoon tea at 3pm, creating space for dialogue and reflection.

Discover how culture, research, and creativity connect to tell deeper stories of Country.
