Closed-in shoes, long sleeves and long pants. Please bring a water bottle.
Join skilled jewellery artisan Jemica Ostrofski to design and craft your own statement ring or a set of stacking rings using sterling silver, copper, brass, and aluminium.
Learn traditional metalsmithing techniques including soldering, texturing, polishing, sawing, drilling, and forming, and take home a unique creation that reflects your personal style.
Once you have completed this course you are eligible to participate in our Silversmithing Advanced Workshop.
Jemica Ostrofski draws inspiration from fashion design, costume jewellery and urban geometric form. Her goal is to create individually hand-crafted pieces that tell a story, using traditional silversmithing techniques such as hand sawing, soldering and metal texturing. Adopting an ethically responsible and environmentally friendly practice, she uses recycled, found and repurposed metals in her workshops.
All our Hands-on Workshops have a limited number of participants to ensure you receive all the assistance and direction you require.
Spectators are welcome at all workshops.
