Hard hats on — it’s time to build bold ideas!

These April school holidays, Queensland Museum Cobb+Co becomes a buzzing construction zone where ordinary boxes turn into extraordinary creations. Using safe assembly tools like saws, scorers, screws and fasteners, kids can assemble, connect and create their own clever inventions. From secret spy gadgets to wearable designs, take inspiration from our prototypes or bring your own ideas to life.

What’s Included:

• All materials supplied
• Use of tools during the session (tools remain in the workshop)
• 10 screws to take home as part of your build
• Optional upgrade: add an extra pack of 10 screws for extended creativity

Sensory friendly session

• Wednesday 15 April, 1pm
• Limited tickets with reduced sound for a calmer experience.

• Designed for ages 3–12. Children under 5 will require assistance from an adult.
