Mr. Stefano Borghi is the Collection Manager Cnidaria at Queensland Museum Tropics.
Stefano is primarily responsible for managing the acquisition, registration, preservation and accessibility of Cnidarian specimens, which include soft and hard corals, jellyfish, anemone and hydroids.
He also assists with other Biodiversity collections based at QM Tropics.
Stefano has an ongoing research interest in the taxonomy and systematics of soft corals and specialises in corals with a stoloniferous morphology. With his research, Stefano is documenting the diversity and geography of soft corals from Australia and adjacent regions.
