Join the Queensland Museum Future Makers team for free online Teacher Professional Development workshop highlighting new learning resources that explore how Queensland Museum experts create world-class exhibitions. Discover a range of real-world Design & Tech museum jobs, hands-on activities for your classroom, as well as the amazing work that goes into the creation of exhibitions such as the ANZAC Legacy Gallery and Dinosaurs Unearthed.  

Topics include:

  • How lighting can be adjusted to affect the mood and function of a space
  • How objects are perceived
  •  How the layout of a space affects how we interact with it
  • The role the 5 senses play in creating emotion and meaning in exhibitions
  • Materials and functionality
  • Sustainability

 The activities are designed to encourage students to generate their own design ideas and analyse the impact of modern technologies on exhibition design.

A CPD Certificate will be sent to participants following the delivery of the event.
