For this very special day we will turn the sound down and create an engaging, fun space that children with sensory processing difficulties can share with their families and carers.

These school holidays, embark on an exciting journey through the past and present with a range of school holiday fun at Queensland Museum Rail Workshops.   

  • Unleash your inner engineer with bridge-building activities that challenge and inspire.
  • Witness the evolution of Queensland's rail network and beyond with our captivating timeline wall and see if you can match the photographs to the right era. 
  • Embark on a thrilling scavenger hunt through the museum, uncovering hidden treasures along the way.
  • Take a ride around the museum on the Land Train - $3 per person.
  • Let creativity run wild in Makerspace with a collection of unique arts and crafts.
  • Test your skill with a range of games like stilt walking, hula hoop, hopscotch and more.
