Street Art Jam is back - bigger, bolder and rolling into Ipswich with a full day celebrating the crossover between street art and skateboarding culture.
Rooted in self-expression, creativity, and community, this year's event brings together artists, skaters, and the public in an open, interactive space where walls and wheels collide.
Guiding the day’s action is Roman MC, local hip-hop artist, host, and freestyle performer. Roman will keep the energy flowing with live commentary, roving rhymes, and crowd interactions throughout the precinct.
Come along to watch, create, ride, and connect. Family-friendly event, wheelchair accessible, and open to all ages. The event is free for Annual Pass holders - pre-booking is recommended.
Street Art Jam is delivered as part of SPARK Festival.
Get ready to witness serious talent on wheels. Some of Queensland’s best skaters will take over a custom-built skate setup, complete with a half pipe, rails, and ramps designed for high-energy tricks and gravity-defying moves. Hosted by Chiggy’s Skateboarding, this live demo is all about creativity, control, and raw style. Whether you're a lifelong skate fan or new to the scene, this is your chance to see elite-level skating up close.
Presented in collaboration with Art Time Ipswich, this pop-up exhibition transforms ordinary skate decks into extraordinary works of art. Featuring a diverse lineup of local and emerging artists, Art Onboard celebrates the intersection of visual storytelling and skate culture. Each deck becomes a canvas for expression, bold, graphic, experimental, and uniquely personal. Walk through the exhibition and discover how colour, culture, and movement collide.
Whether you’ve never stepped on a board or you’re ready to level up, Chiggy’s Skateboarding invites you to drop in and ride throughout the day. Their friendly team will be running open, all-ages sessions designed to build confidence and have fun, no bookings, no pressure, just give it a go.
In addition to drop-in skating, Chiggy’s will host dedicated sessions for girls and women, creating a welcoming and supportive space to connect and build skills in a relaxed environment. Boards and safety gear provided, just bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure.
Get hands-on with the foundations of street art in a relaxed, welcoming space. No experience needed, just curiosity and creativity.
Watch the space transform in real time as a team of talented artists brings massive walls to life with colour, movement, and bold design. The Jam Walls is where creativity happens live, spray by spray, line by line. See each artist’s process up close as they respond to the space, the crowd, and the day’s energy to create something truly unforgettable.
Everyone’s invited to make their mark at The Community Wall, a large-scale, all-ages collaborative artwork. With artists on hand to offer guidance and encouragement, this is your chance to become part of the creative story. Whether it’s your name, your artwork, or just a burst of colour, your contribution will help shape a shared mural that grows throughout the day.
