Visit as a school

Olden Days Festival welcomes school children from the Darling Downs community to gain a glimpse into the past through investigating objects and interacting with artisans. With a focus on learning through experience and fun, children can explore the history of communication, cameras, transport and more. They will see demonstrations of heritage trades and join in a sing-along with an entertainer.

This year includes an exciting opportunity to explore vintage vehicles and a miniature steam engine.

Timetable:

  • 9.30am-10am: Morning tea and orientation (optional)
  • 10am-12pm: Displays and activities
  • 12pm-12.30pm: Entertainment
  • 12.30pm-1pm: Lunch (BYO)

Later start times can be organised for groups travelling long distances.
