In this engaging three-hour workshop, teens aged 13–17 will learn the fundamentals of metalsmithing, exploring traditional techniques to design and craft their own small metal pieces such as a necklace, key chain, or ring.

Guided by Silversmith Jemica Ostrofski, participants will build confidence using tools and materials in a safe and supportive environment that encourages creativity and skill development.

Join us from 9am - 12pm or from 1pm - 4pm.

Meet your tutor

Jemica Ostrofski draws inspiration from fashion design, costume jewellery and urban geometric form. Her goal is to create individually hand-crafted pieces that tell a story, using traditional silversmithing techniques such as hand sawing, soldering and metal texturing. Adopting an ethically responsible and environmentally friendly practice, she uses recycled, found and repurposed metals in her workshops.

All our Hands-on Workshops have a limited number of participants to ensure you receive all the assistance and direction you require.

Spectators are welcome at all workshops.
