This wonderful initiative, now in its 10th year, promotes the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood development and education with a particular focus on how nursery rhymes boost early language and literacy skills.

Every day, we'll shine a light on a different nursery rhyme where we'll sing, dance and rhyme away.

This is a free event and bookings are not required.

  • Monday 13 November: Jack and Jill
  • Tuesday 14 November: Hickory Dickory Dock
  • Wednesday 15 November: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
  • Thursday 16 November: Row, Row, Row Your Boat
  • Friday 17 November: The Wheels on the Bus

Singing nursery rhymes is a wonderful activity you can also enjoy doing together at home. You can access free resources for this initiative by registering online here.
