Museums are places where families can explore and learn together. Families can enjoy a range of exhibitions, events and activities during their visit to Museum of Tropical Queensland.
Staff are located throughout Museum of Tropical Queensland to assist, offer directions or interpret information. Children’s activities and interactions feature throughout our exhibitions.
Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a carer or guardian at all times when visiting the museum.
The museum is accessible for parents bringing prams or strollers. Lifts are located in the centre of the building to enable access to all levels of the museum.
There is a family room with a nappy change table and easy access for prams located on the Ground Floor and Level 1.
The Galley Café has child-friendly menu options. Highchairs are available upon request.
