Are you ready to get colourful? Thomas The Tank Engine, everyone’s favourite #1 blue engine is heading to Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. For the first time ever, this day of colourful adventures will celebrate the magic and beauty of colour at Day Out With Thomas: The Colour Tour.

Day Out With Thomas: The Colour Tour is a fun filled, family event that celebrates the joy of colour so you can expect plenty of colourful, family friendly activities.

Things to see and do

  • Meet Thomas the Tank Engine and Sir Topham Hatt in person.
  • Find Thomas and friends around the museum and be rewarded.
  • Enjoy carnival rides and face painting.
  • Dive into the Thomas play pit, including wooden track building.
  • Find the hidden Thomas trains on the huge model railway.
  • Take a break and watch a Thomas movie.
  • Get crafty with Thomas activities including colouring-in, arts and crafts.
  • Let off steam in the indoor adventure playground and expansive grounds.
  • Catch Sir Topham Hatt performing live with Thomas the Tank Engine.
