Join us at the birth place of rail in Queensland for the return of this hallmark event with a brand new name! Planes, Trains and Autos presents Fully Charged will continue to celebrate all things aviation, rail and autos including:  

  • Thrilling solo and duo aerobatic displays
  • Interactive family activities and practical demonstrations
  • Access to explore all museum exhibitions and activities
  • Self-guided walk-through tours
  • Large scale machinery
  • Kids will be spoilt for choice with the Nippers Railway adventure playground plus create your own paper planes and test them in wind tunnels
  • Food trucks and roving entertainment

In the air

Wolf Pitts Pro Aerobatic Solo
The Wolf Pitts Pro is the highest performing aerobatic biplane in the world, this high energy, engine screaming precision aerobatic display is piloted by Paul Bennet, the current Australian Freestyle Aerobatic Champion. 

Zivko Edge 540 Aerobatic Solo
High energy aerobatic display of rolling and tumbling manoeuvres that showcases the Edge’s staggering performance is piloted by Glenn Graham the current Australian Unlimited Aerobatic Champion.

SkyAces Formation Aerobatic Display
Consisting of multiple aircraft performing an array of dazzling formation aerobatics in very close proximity. Loops and rolls and dynamic head-to-head stunts, are guaranteed to leave you gasping! 

Aerial displays will be announced over the PA 10 minutes prior to starting. All Flying is subject to change due to weather, operational requirements and other aviation considerations. 

Why not make a power-packed weekend of it? The full 2024 Planes, Trains and Autos festival program runs from Saturday, 4 May to Monday 6 May and includes exciting events across the region.
