Free with admission to Born or Built? Our Robotic Future

Step into the world of Born or Built? Our Robotic Future and let your imagination run wild with hands-on robot-inspired crafting fun all Summer Holiday long.

Starting in December the museum’s popular Bits and Bots Christmas Bauble activity is back! Explore Born or Built? Our Robotic Future and be inspired by the dazzling shapes, colours, and patterns of technology to design your very own take-home bauble.

Then keep the creativity flowing in January with more robot-inspired fun. Roll up your sleeves in our DIY makerspace, where you can craft a unique take-home robot using cardboard, foil, bottle lids, and other recycled treasures. And don’t miss out: for the final week of the holidays you can brush up on your painting skills with your very own plaster-cast robot masterpiece.

Whether you love painting, building, or simply exploring how art and technology collide, our Bits & Bots workshops are the perfect way to get inspired by robots of all shapes and sizes!
