Help bring learning to life for kids in every corner of Queensland

Our 2025 Appeal aims to give children the opportunity to discover, learn and explore – no matter where they live.

Every child deserves to experience the joy and wonder of discovery. Yet some children never have the opportunity to visit a place like Queensland Museum. 

Through our QM Loans Learning Kits, we take the museum to classrooms and early learning centres across Queensland. Each learning kit is like a mini museum – filled with real objects, specimens, high-quality replicas and teaching resources, designed for early years through to secondary school.

We create them in Brisbane and send them to a network of 24 collection points across regional and remote Queensland, from Goondiwindi in the south, to Cloncurry in the west and Mossman in the north. We even deliver kits to Weipa by barge from Cairns!

Our learning kits are available for free in remote and outer regional areas. With rising costs to produce and deliver kits, we’re asking for your help to continue making this possible.
