No. You can explore the museum for free during our opening hours. Entry charges apply for SparkLab and some temporary exhibitions.
Please bring your ticket on your mobile device to assist with limiting contact. We need to scan the barcode on each ticket for entry. Please have your mobile device ready.
A free Cloakroom is located in the foyer near the main entrance on Level 2. Please note we cannot accept large bags, suitcases, prams or scooters.
If you've lost an item while visiting the museum, please contact us. All lost property handed in and/or found will be written in the Lost and Found Register and items stored in a secure location. Lost property will be held for three months, at the end of that time items will be disposed of, recycled, or given to charity.

All Queensland Museum Kurilpa tickets are available through our ticketing provider, QTIX. By purchasing a ticket you agree to the QTIX Ticketing Terms and Conditions.
If you have purchased or booked a ticket to an exhibition/event using your Queensland Museum Kurilpa Annual Pass, please have your valid Annual Pass card ready to show staff.

SparkLab is a timed ticketed experience. Choosing your preferred arrival time will reduce waiting times and provide an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Your ticket entitles you to enter SparkLab from your session start time displayed on your ticket.
Your ticket must be presented at the SparkLab entry on Level 1 to be validated for entry.
If you are an Annual Pass holder, you must present your Annual Pass card and one form of ID upon entry to be validated for entry to SparkLab.
If you have purchased a Health Care Card ticket to an exhibition/event, please have your valid Australian Government issued ‘Health Care’ or ‘Health Card’ ready to show staff.

QTIX and Eventbrite are the official ticketing service for Queensland Museum exhibitions and events. Any tickets purchased through unauthorised sales channels may be seized or cancelled without refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.
