How to get here & parking
Road changes for Brisbane Metro construction
From mid-July 2022 until 2024, road directions and access around the Queensland Culture Centre will change.
Access to the Museum and Art Gallery car park (P2) from the south will be via Montague Road and proceeding through Stanley Place. Access from the north will remain unchanged with turning left after the William Jolly Bridge. Reduced speed limits will apply in these areas. We recommend familiarising yourself with the changes to help plan your visit.
The Cultural Centre bus stop and South Brisbane train station will continue to operate with directional signage for pedestrians. Learn more about work around the Queensland Cultural Centre or download the area map.

On foot
The museum is a short walk across the river from Brisbane’s CBD via the Victoria Bridge or the Kurilpa Bridge.
There are two main entrances located on Level 2 and Level 1 closest to the Cultural Centre Busway Station.
A third entrance is located on Level 0 via Grey Street, beside the Dinosaur Garden.
By car
The Queensland Cultural Centre Car Park (P2) is located underneath Queensland Museum Kurilpa. Entry via Stanley Place (vehicle height limit at entry: 2 metres).
A temporary set down area for vehicles including taxis, coaches, school buses and minibuses is located on Stanley Place.
Visitors with disability permits are advised to check with the attendant via the auto pay station intercom to confirm if person with disability bays (PWD bays) are available.

$17.60 per entry, per day.
Payment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or debit card only.
No cash payments are accepted.
Car park opening hours
Monday to Sunday: 7am to Midnight.
Public Holidays: 7am to Midnight (closed Good Friday and Christmas Day).
Alternative parking is available at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
