A Night at the Museum – NAIDOC Week

A Night at the Museum is back with exclusive after hours access to Queensland Museum Kurilpa. Enjoy a range of amazing activities for the whole family. 

This special edition coincides with NAIDOC Week celebrations and will feature First Nations artists throughout the night.

Exhibitions

• Ignite your curiosity with exclusive access to SparkLab (open until 8pm during A Night at the Museum events).
• Get ready for an immersive adventure with after hours access to Jurassic World by Brickman®, the largest LEGO® brick exhibition in Australia.
• Unleash your inner palaeontologist in Dinosaurs Unearthed: Explore Prehistoric Queensland.
• Be transported to the Wellesley Islands region in the Gulf of Carpentaria through NGURRUWARRA / DERNDERNYIN: Stone Fish Traps of the Wellesley Islands.
• Explore Queensland’s distinctive environments and animals in Wild State.

Events and Activities

• Join in First Nations storytelling and performance with Tribal Experiences.
• Learn and explore along a First Nations trail around the museum.
• Create your own native animal masterpiece with artist Jessica Skeen. Jessica comes from the Widi, Biri and Kuku Thaypan tribes of North Queensland. 
• Enjoy live science experiments in SparkLab (open until 8pm during A Night at the Museum events).
• Join our scientists in the Discovery Centre to unlock nature's secrets and explore the delicate balance of our local environments.
