A Night at the Museum returns, giving visitors exclusive after-hours access to Queensland Museum Kurilpa, for an evening of discovery and fun.

Explore Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends, an all-ages exhibition that plunges you into the world of the mighty crocodile. Wander through the museum’s galleries after dark, enjoy special croc-themed activities, and uncover fascinating stories about one of the world’s most remarkable creatures along the way.

Get hands-on in SparkLab, the family-favourite, where science comes alive with interactive experiments and live presentations. 

Bring your family and friends for a night packed with science, stories, and surprises — all under one roof!

This event has limited capacity. Bookings are essential. Our events are cashless, EFPTOS only.

Activities - November 2025

  • Explore Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends.
  • Get a croc-themed snap in the photobooth.
  • Craft an origami croc or dino. 
  • Drop-in for an interactive talk exploring the links between crocs and birds in the Discovery Centre at 6:15pm and 7:15pm.
  • Meet and greet 'baby dinosaurs' with Dino Encounters.
  • Science comes alive in SparkLab with live Science Experiments at the Science Bar and the Electric Sparks Show.

    Science Bar – 5:45pm & 7:30pm
    Maker Space – drop-in all evening to design and construct a croc transportation device.
  • The Café will stay open with dino nuggets on the menu!
