Join the Queensland Museum education team for a twilight Teacher Professional Development session showcasing a range of learning resources connecting real-world objects and research with the Years 5–9 Australian Mathematics Curriculum.
Teachers and home educators will participate in hands-on activities and view exhibition content to finding engaging new ways to teach concepts such as percentages, cartesian planes, density, aspect ratio, Fibonacci sequence and data collection.
A range of take-home learning resources with clear curriculum links are provided so that you can easily implement these activities in your classroom.
Registration and afternoon tea from 3:30pm.
A CPD Certificate will be sent to participants following the delivery of the event.
