We’re turning the sound down and reducing visitor numbers in the Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends exhibition to create a calmer, more relaxed museum experience.
These quieter hours are designed to welcome guests on the autism spectrum, and anyone who would benefit from a less busy, lower-sensory environment.
To help create this experience, we’ll be:
Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends is a paid, ticketed exhibition with strictly limited numbers. Companion cardholders and children under 5 enter free (but still require a ticket).
All museum staff have received training in autism and disability awareness to help ensure an accessible and welcoming visit for everyone.
To book a Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends session, visit the QTIX website and select your preferred session marked 'Sensory Friendly' from the available dates.
A sensory map, large print guide and visual story will be available soon.
Exhibition lighting and audio effects will be reduced or turned off inside Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends during this Sensory Friendly Event. This exhibition features:
