In this resource, students explore the properties of solids and liquids, as well as how they change in response to different situations. Students firstly participate in a teacher-led demonstration where they investigate how they can change the way a solid melts and test different solids to see how they compare. Students then identify questions for further inquiry before planning and conducting scientific investigations to explore their chosen topics.
