Self-Guided Visit for School Groups

Bring your classroom learning to life with a self-guided visit to Queensland Museum Kurilpa. Designed for flexibility, this program allows teachers and students to explore the museum’s galleries at their own pace — encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and creative connections across science, history and culture.

From Queensland’s prehistoric past in Dinosaurs Unearthed to the diverse ecosystems of Wild State, and the stories of courage and resilience in the Anzac Legacy Gallery, each space offers opportunities for hands-on learning and meaningful discussion.

Teachers can tailor their visit to suit year levels, group sizes and learning goals, with helpful tips  to make the most of your museum experience.
