The museum is open from 1:30pm – 5pm on Anzac Day.

Established in 2002, Queensland Museum Foundation (ABN 71 409 081 264) is a registered charity, endorsed by the Australian Tax Office as a deductible gift recipient (DGR). All gifts over $2 are tax deductible. All administrative and operating costs are met by the Board of Queensland Museum.
Donations to Queensland Museum Foundation are directed towards the work of Queensland Museum, including delivery of leading exhibitions and research, learning and engagement programs, and care of the collections—held in trust for the people of Queensland. Her excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, is Patron of Queensland Museum Foundation.
