Rob Shiels

Rob Shiels Collection Manager

Rob Shiels is a Collection Manager at The Workshops Rail Museum based in Queensland.

As part of his role, Rob has moved large and unique museum objects including locomotives, buses, cars, wagons and carriages, generators, tanks, rail motors and high voltage electrical infrastructure.

Rob’s areas of research include the use of railways in the World War I, railways in Queensland, railway sporting and social clubs and general Queensland history.
