Facilitated by multidisciplinary artist, Alick Tipoti (Koedal, Zugubaw Baydham, Kuki Guuba) and his dance troupe, Dhamuw Koedal from Badhu Island, Torres Strait, this dance and song workshop will teach participants the cultural significance of crocodiles through dance and movement.
This workshop is suitable to all ages and abilities, and extends on Tipoti’s work Koedalaw Girer (crocodile dance), which features in the exhibition Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends.

Experience Alick Tipoti and his dance troupe, Dhamuw Koedal, performing their traditional crocodile dance in a free live event on Saturday, 25 October. The performance runs from 11:15am to 11:45am at QPAC’s Melbourne Street Green (free, no bookings required).
