Zugub, the Mask, the Spirits and the Stars invites you into the world of renowned artist Alick Tipoti, whose work features in Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends, and brings to life the stories, language and traditions of his people through music, dance and art.
The compelling 60-minute film invites you to travel with Alick to his home island of Badu in the Torres Strait (Zenadth Kes) and witness the legends of his land unfold through breathtaking visuals and powerful storytelling.
A respected interpreter of his culture, Alick takes us on a journey through his creative life as printmaker, mask maker, songster and choreographer.

Walk alongside one of the planet’s most powerful and fascinating animals, on a journey stretching back over 130 million years. This interactive all-ages exhibition will bring you face-to-face with the mighty crocodile.
Facilitated by multidisciplinary artist, Alick Tipoti (Koedal, Zugubaw Baydham, Kuki Guuba) and his dance troupe, Dhamuw Koedal from Badhu Island, Torres Strait, this dance and song workshop will teach participants the cultural significance of crocodiles through dance and movement.
Artist Bernard Lee Singleton Jr. joins his father, Dr Bernie Singleton, to yarn about their connection to crocodiles.
