School booking form

Bookings are essential for all school visits. Self-led visits and school program bookings are made through the same booking form. Please submit one booking form per visit.

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation. Please allow five business days for our team to respond to your request. Should you not receive a response within this time contact the Programming and Engagement team on (07) 4726 0600.

Payment options

Invoicing for your booking can be sent to your organisation’s postal or email address after your visit. Cash or card payment can also be accepted on the day and will be arranged by the Visitor Experience Officers at the front admission desk.

Where relevant, an invoice will be sent to the booking contact’s email address after your visit. Please check this email address is correct in the booking information listed above. If you would like to have your invoice sent to a different email address, please contact the Learning Officer with those details prior to your visit.

Terms and conditions

1. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your written booking confirmation. It may take up to five working days to respond to your request during peak booking periods. Should you not receive a response within this time please contact the Programming and Engagement team via email (learning@mtq.qm.qld.gov.au) or phone (07 4726 0600) between 9.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. 2. Queensland Museum Tropics does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking. 3. Notice of Cancellation: We require written notice to cancel or reschedule a booked excursion. Please contact the Programming and Engagement team via email to cancel or reschedule your booking. 4. Rescheduling of bookings is subject to availability. 5. Final confirmed number of guests is required seven (7) days prior to the visit. 6. Facilitated school programs have a maximum capacity of 28 students per session. 7. Prices: All prices listed include GST where applicable. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change. For more information about prices and facilitated programs, visit our website. 8. Bookings made with less than two (2) days notice cannot be guaranteed placement.
