This school holidays, Queensland Museum Tropics invites you to join us for a hands-on art and science experience where kids can choose one 3D-printed model magnet to paint — either the new-to-science fairy wrasse fish, the striking strawberry claw hermit crab, or a miniature diving helmet inspired by our historic Langley Diving Helmet collection.
While creating their artwork, participants will also discover the science behind these fascinating marine creatures and historic diving equipment.
After finishing their masterpiece, capture the moment with a family photo opportunity wearing life size (but lightweight!) replica dive helmets, then relax with marine-themed activity sheets to take home. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, discovery, and ocean adventure!
The activity is on daily and included with ticket purchase to James Cameron - Challenging the Deep.
If you're only interested in What can you see under the sea?, individual tickets can be purchased for $8 per person. Click here for individual tickets.
