The Dhamuw Koedal Dance Team perform their traditional crocodile dance in a free public event to celebrate the opening weekend of Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends.

Led by artist and cultural leader Alick Tipoti, the group shares Torres Strait Islander culture through powerful song, dance, and storytelling in the Kala Lagaw Ya language.

Throughout the dance, Alick’s sons wear distinctive headdresses that demonstrate their deep connection to the Koedal (crocodile).

For accessibility information please visit Queensland Museum Kurilpa’s Accessibility page or contact the museum on (07) 3153 3000.
