From Queensland dinosaurs to megafauna, students will explore and ask questions about these ancient animals, and how science and real museum specimens help to bring the past to life.

Program Features:

  • Live digital presentation by a Queensland Museum expert including scientists, curators and researchers
  • Q&A opportunities to spark curiosity and deepen understanding
  • Access to view unique objects, stories, and research from the museum’s collections

Program FAQs

The Digital Incursions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. A meeting link with instructions will be sent one week before the program. We recommend connecting using a laptop and projecting the session onto a digital whiteboard for students to view and participate.

Prior to your session, have your class decide on several questions related to the theme of the session for our experts to nominate your student representatives who will ask those questions.

There may be other classes in your Digital Incursion program, however places are very limited as we aim to provide an engaging and interactive experience for all students to participate throughout the program.
