Designed for visitors who are vision impaired, this free tour combines vivid audio descriptions with tactile experiences, offering a multi-sensory journey through the museum’s most fascinating stories and objects.

Led by our knowledgeable guides, you’ll explore the prehistoric wonders of ancient Queensland, including tactile replicas of dinosaur fossils, and enjoy a bespoke experience in the Discovery Centre, where you’ll engage with stories and objects that celebrate Queensland’s rich biodiversity. Feel the textures of history, hear the stories of innovation, and connect with the marvels of the natural world in a truly immersive way.

From ancient artefacts to cutting-edge technology, the Audio Described Tactile Tour showcases Queensland Museum Kurilpa’s collection, ensuring everyone can experience the magic of discovery.
