Bring Queensland Museum experts into your classroom for an interactive online learning experience. Through engaging presentations and a dedicated Q&A, students can ask questions, explore ideas, and see real-world science, history and culture come to life on screen.

From city classrooms to remote and regional locations, schools anywhere across Queensland can hear from the museum’s experts and discover unique collection items up close.

  • Live digital presentation by a Queensland Museum expert including scientists, curators and researchers
  • Q&A opportunities to spark curiosity and deepen understanding
  • Access to view unique objects, stories, and research from the museum's collections

Connect students with Queensland Museum's marine science experts for a live, online learning experience where they can ask questions, explore ideas and see real-world science, history and culture come to life direct to the classroom.

In recognition of National Reconciliation Week, students will have the opportunity to engage directly with an expert museum professional about the role museums play in preserving First Nations culture and history and sharing stories.

Thursday 19 August 2027 | Years 7 – 10

To celebrate National Science Week, students will connect with a Queensland Museum expert in this interactive online event where they can ask questions about their day-to-day roles at the museum and in the field, explore ideas and discover how museums help shape scientific research and discoveries.

Term 4 Meet the Expert: Palaeontology

Wednesday 3 November 2027 | Years 3 – 6
Thursday 4 November 2027 | Years 7 – 10

Students will travel back in time with a Queensland Museum palaeontologist in this exciting online learning event. Through the interactive platform, students will have the opportunity to connect and ask questions to discover how fossils reveal insights about Queensland's dinosaurs, megafauna, ancient environments and life on Earth millions of years ago.
