Queensland is Australia’s most biodiverse state and home to a wide range of animals adapted to thrive in forests, deserts, marine environments, wetlands and beyond.
Wild Diversity: Animals and Habitats is a hands-on, curriculum-aligned program where students explore the diversity of animal life and the habitats they call home.
Through real specimens and guided inquiry, students examine animal features, characteristics, and adaptations, learn about major animal groups, explore the roles animals play within ecosystems, and investigate how environments support life and shape survival strategies.
Wild Diversity: Animals and Habitats highlights fascinating specimens from Queensland Museum’s permanent Wild State Gallery and connects with the current exhibition Croc! Lost Giants to Living Legends, (Term 2 and 3 only).
