What does an average Queensland Museum scientist’s “office” look like? Is it an outback fossil dig or a limestone cave? Perhaps exploring a tropical reef using scuba or drone technologies?

Discover a day in the life of Queensland Museum’s palaeontologist, Scott Hocknull. Scott is committed to sharing our collections, discoveries and methods of scientific inquiry, using innovative ways to interpret and illustrate ancient Queensland animals and environments. Learn the ways he collaborates with other scientific disciplines and uses cutting edge technologies to reconstruct evidence of prehistoric life.

Bring Science as a Human Endeavour to life through presentations, exhibitions, collections and opportunities to ask questions about real-world science.
