School booking form

Bookings are essential for all school and children's group visits. A booking to Queensland Museum, SparkLab, or optional school programs are made through the same booking form. Please submit one booking form per visit.

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation. Please allow five business days for our team to respond to your request. Should you not receive a response within this time contact the Bookings Officer on (07) 3153 4401.

Terms and conditions

1. Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed only when you receive your Entry Ticket/Itinerary. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 5 working days, please contact the Booking Officer. 2. If you have questions about your booking or if the confirmation document does not reflect your submitted booking, please email education@qm.qld.gov.au or phone (07) 3153 4401. 3. Prices: Please be aware that all prices are subject to change. A general museum visit is free of charge; some temporary exhibitions are charged. SparkLab is a charged exhibition which is GST-free. School programs led by museum staff are charged and include-GST. 4. Group discount to SparkLab and costed exhibitions: applies with 10+ paying people. 5. A minimum payment for 20 students is required for school programs. 6. Payment: For invoicing, complete the Entry Ticket and an invoice will be emailed. Payment via cheque, make payable to ‘Queensland Museum’. Major credit cards are also accepted. 7. Notice of Cancellation: We require at least seven (7) days' notice prior to the visit when cancelling. Cancellations received less than seven (7) days prior to the visit may result in a charge if a staff member has been booked to deliver a program. Cancellations may be sent via phone or email. 8. If your group numbers increase or decrease by more than 5, please inform the Group Bookings Officer as soon as possible, as this may affect your itinerary. 9. Queensland Museum does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
