Creature Features is a gamified learning challenge where students search for animals that have particular external features.

Program overview

Creature Features is a gamified learning challenge where students search for Queensland animals that possess special external features, as determined by the roll of our specially designed dice. In small groups, students will interpret, identify, and communicate their findings as they explore Wild State, seeking out their creatures with specific features!

Creature Features complements the Science strand of the Australian Curriculum: Creature Features for Prep – Year 3 Australian Curriculum links

For optimal experience, this program requires the active participation of accompanying adults. One adult per 4-5 children is optimal. Please refer to Creature Features pre-visit information
