An adventure 6 million LEGO® bricks in the making.
Get ready for an immersive adventure like no other as Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught re-imagines Jurassic World, the blockbuster franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, in the largest LEGO® brick exhibition in Australia.
Featuring large-scale dinosaurs, props, scenes and activities made from over 6 million LEGO® bricks. Relive the magic of beloved stories and characters from the Jurassic World franchise, as you embark on a thrilling journey across Isla Nublar.
More than two years and 10,000 build hours have gone into the creation of Jurassic World by Brickman®, making it the biggest exhibition The Brickman team have ever created. This is a not-to-be-missed experience for kids and adults alike.

Things to see and do
- Walk through the iconic gates of the park and experience the inner workings of the Jurassic World lab.
- Venture into the baby dinosaur enclosure, where a life-size Brachiosaurus weighing well over 1.8 tonnes awaits!
- Encounter incredible models of Triceratops, Velociraptors, T.rex and many more.
- Get hands-on with LEGO® brick palaeontology, mystery mosaics, island-building and hybrid dinosaur creations.
Extended opening hours
Jurassic World by Brickman® stays open late on certain weekends and holidays for you to explore all 6 million LEGO® bricks after hours. Choose an evening entry session between 5pm and 6.20pm on:
- Saturday 29 June 2024
- Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Saturday 13 July 2024 (CLOSING WEEKEND)
All other areas of Queensland Museum Kurilpa close at the usual time of 5pm.

Visit as a school
A discounted ticket price of $15 per student is available for the following group bookings:
- School group (Prep – Year 12) - 10+ students
- Children’s group (children aged 3 - 15 years) – 10+ children
Schools experiencing socio-educational disadvantage (ICSEA below 1000) may be able to book discounted exhibition tickets.
Please note, bookings are essential for all school and children’s group visits. We recommend you book as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred visit date and time.
Free visit for teachers
We invite teachers, early years educators and group supervisors to preview the museum prior to your visit to plan and prepare for your group’s learning experiences. Ryan McNaught, aka “Brickman” is one of the world’s leading LEGO® brick artists and the only LEGO® Certified Professional (LCP) in the southern hemisphere. In 2019, Ryan took on the role of judge and LEGO® expert on Australia’s award-winning TV show, LEGO® Masters Australia, which just completed its fifth season – Grand Masters.
Ryan and his team of highly skilled LEGO® brick model builders and craftspeople at The Brickman have built some of the largest and most detailed LEGO® brick models in the world. With a growing portfolio of work, eight globally touring exhibitions and hundreds of models in museums, galleries, and shopping locations worldwide; there really isn’t anything The Brickman team can’t make out of LEGO® bricks.
LEGO® brick fanatics will have an opportunity to show off their own building skills. With 2.5 million bricks to play with, creativity will not be in short supply!
Over 2 years, 6 million LEGO® bricks and 10,000 build hours have gone into the creation of Jurassic World by Brickman®.
